The Automated External Defibrillator course is four hours and is designed to be delivered in one day. The course comprises of practical work and theoretical classroom work, including practical assessment on CPR and AED.
The course will be delivered using a variety of methods including:
• PowerPoint Presentations
• Flip Chart Exercises
• Guided Group Discussions and Activities
• Practical Demonstrations and Training
The AED qualification is Ofqual accredited and valid for two years.

The Anaphylaxis Management course teaches candidates how to recognise a casualty with anaphylaxis and provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty.
This 4-hour Anaphylaxis Management training is available as a standalone course or can be added to one of our other first aid qualifications. After completing an RLSS UK Anaphylaxis Management course, candidates receive a Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis.
